Virtual Field Trip: Migration Monitoring at Long Point Bird Observatory
Explore the wonders of bird migration with a virtual field trip to Long Point Bird Observatory (LPBO). Students will meet birds up close and participate in bird banding to learn about migration, populations, and bird conservation.
- Audience: Grades 4-12 (Content is adapted to meet curriculum interests)
- Dates: Spring (April – June) and Fall (September – November);
- Times: Mornings (Eastern Time Zone); 45-60 minutes
- Fee: Donations greatly appreciated to support scientific operations and educational programming
