Join Project FeederWatch and become a Bird Studies Canada member!

New project participants receive results of last season, a bird-identification poster, bird-feeding information, instructional materials, a calendar and a tally sheet.

Welcome! Project FeederWatch is a critical research project to help winter bird populations. The project is funded by our caring members who also submit their backyard sightings for data analysis.

You can participate in Project FeederWatch when you join as a Bird Studies Canada member or renew your membership. Your donation of any amount makes you a member and your membership is valid for the rest of that year. If you give $50 or more, you will also receive our exclusive BirdWatch Canada magazine.

One-time donation 

The minimum one-time donation amount is $5

Automatic monthly donation

The minimum monthly donation amount is $3

If you choose one of the automatic payment options, your credit card will be debited once when you check out, and on the 15th day of each following month, or the 15th day prior to the anniversary date afterwards. You can change or cancel your pledge at any time by contacting us.
